First of all, my thoughts and prayers go to the people of Japan. I hope that everything gets better.

I'll be studying in Ritsumuikan University in Kyoto this April 1 under the JASSO scholarship.
Is it still safe to go? We were told that Kyoto is safe and far from the affected areas, BUT my parents are really worried.
I need some help in deciding.
IS IT SAFE IN KYOTO? Thank you.
