Was the Great Wall of China effective at keeping Japanese invaders out in World War II?

Question:

Answer:

The Great Wall was built nowhere near the coast. The Japanese came in via ships, not land and no where near where the Wall was built.

Also, by the time WW2 occurred, the Wall was obsolete. It could never stand up to modern artillery.
