How much would moving to japan cost ?

i have decided to move to Tokyo and i am going to buy an apartment. I live in Spokane Washington an i was wondering how much it would cost in USD for gas to Seattle and the plane ticket to Tokyo and how much it would cost in yen for one of the small 8 by 10 apartments.Thank you :D

You won't be moving here without a college degree and a job offer. That being said, let's assume you are bringing only your clothes or whatever else you can manage with an extra piece of luggage on the airline.

Airfare - $1500
Apartment - 90,000 yen/month plus twice that for security deposit and key money
Furnishings - Can't begin to guess, but you would need a stove, frig, microwave, futon, table, chairs and all kinds of other minor stuff. Figure at least 200,000 - 300,000 yen.

You'll need at least a month's living expenses to get by on before you get paid. Say a minimum of 150,000 yen.

There's other misc stuff but it's close enough for a 13 year-old with what is only a pipedream.
