No. What you were watching is called fansub. They wrongly translate things and sub how they see fit.Such as excessive and unnecessary swearing. The Pokemon anime is a children's television program so no. If you mean words like "kuso" which translate into English as "damn", it's not really considered a curse word in Japan. But I haven't heard that word in Pokemon.
