I have a training programe in Nagoya,Japan from June 08 to June 28,2011.Is it safe to go there after tsunami and huge amount of radiation?
Answer:
Completely safe.
Nagoya was not devastated by the tsunami or the earthquake. One possible problem is the radiation. Nagoya is located to the west of the nukes. The jet stream blows from west to east. In addition, there is a high mountain range spreading from north to south as if to protect Nagoya from winds from east. Therefore, the radio active materials will not spread to or fall in Nagoya area. Enjoy your training.
