How many years/month does it take to be a proffessional voice actor in japan?

I don't know what you mean by "Japanese voice actor/actress", I have a friend who is "seiyu (voice actress)" in Tokyo, whose Nationality is Japanese.
She got involved in acting/theatrical drama when she was in high-school and went to a voice training school. Then she became a member of a well-known drama company by audition.
She has worked for shows (voice for stuffed animals) CMs.. Each time there's a audition.
