What sizes are stocked in Japan?

Japan is the first leg of my trip through asia, but it'll only be for a few days. I'm wondering what sizes are stocked, on average in Japanese stores, for both shoes and clothing. Since my trip is short, I won't have time to order clothing if I find something I really like.

Answer:

It depends on each store. But it's better to tell us your size first and ask if Japanese stores have that size.

Addition:
If you are 170cm tall, you can easily find cloths in Japan. There are many women who are 170cm tall in Japan. Why do you think you can't?

And there is also no problem with shoes.
