I forgot what this music style was called, its japanese like tecno/house music but using like anime sounds?

i remember i had heard this style on youtube a long time ago but i just cant remember what it was called. It was really cool because it was all like remixed in an awesome way and i also saw a live dj create his own mix of this style and he was like jumping with the beat and it just looked and sounded badass. The anime sounds were like really cute and said things like idk i guess "oniichan" but remixed and it sounded awesome
