I will be joining the navy soon and I am trying to get stationed in japan, are there any jobs in demand there?

I realize my needs do not come first in the military however, I was wondering how I could increase my chances of being stationed in Japan; what jobs are in demand there? etc.

Answer:

My father was in the navy. He said there are two ways to do things when you're in the navy. The wrong way, and the navy way...
You should ask them about it NOW.
Do you have any special skills ? If you don't, it's too late now.
EDIT : after reading your question, it's not clear if you meant a navy job, or a regular job ? If you want
to work off base, I don't think that will happen.
