Is Japan the most technoligical advanced Country in the World?

Is anyone else close to their development?
Are they even number one?

Why are they so technology advanced compared to most other developed countries? Is it just the culture?
If so what part of the mindset of Japan enables them to be so "technological" advanced?

American Technologies are Western countries (and most of the world) standard.
but Japan's Technologies are almost domestic thing.
because Japan's another name is " Technological Galapagos"
