Do I need to buy an Obi for my yukata, or is it fine the way it is?

Question:

Plus, I plan to go to a long big formal event all my friends and family are going to, so is it too much of a gown or sleepwear than for public? It's gorgeous and not that pricey, and I want it. But I'm not sure if I should buy a more suitable one, or just buy an Obi and flaunt it LOL

Like I already mentioned in your other question, that is a satin bathrobe. Even if it was a yukata, though, it would be too informal for a formal event. If you want a kimono for a formal event, you need at LEAST an iromuji. Not a yukata and definitely not a satin bathrobe.
