What are some good ryokans in kyoto?

Question:

We're going to Japan pretty soon, and spending some time in Kyoto but we'd like to spend one night in a ryokan. Has anyone here stayed in one? We'd prefer a private bathroom and to sleep on futons instead of western beds. Any recommendations is greatly appreciated!

Nagomi Ryokan Yuu Yen 7600 per room
Kyoto Ryokan-Style Guesthouse Budget Inn Yen 2500 per person per night (mixture of guesthouse/ryokan)

Another that is very good is Ryokan Kyoto-Sugicho (also advertised as Hotel Sugicho) friends of mine liked it because of the good room plans (from 4000 yen per person ,no meals. To 7500 yen - 12000 yen with the works.) The private bathroom could be a bit hard to get !
