I've always been so fond of the lifestyle in Japan. Now I was just curious and want to know is it easy living in Japan as an American? Also is it easy to make a good living out there? I wanted to know because I do plan on moving out there if it won't be a struggle.
Answer:
Not easy. You need a BA / BS degree to get a work visa. You also need a job offer before you get there. Most Americans teach English. And in most cases it's not a long term job.
You can't stay more than 90 days without a visa.
You need to have a job skill a Japanese doesn't have.
