After the Japanese Earthquake, what happened to the Gundam?

Question:

I saw a picture that seemed to show that the Gundam had been destroyed after the Earthquake. Was this true? Someone said it was a 2 year old Photoshop.
It can't be true, right? Our hero can't die like this.

Answer:

There was Gundam in Odaiba, Tokyo in summer of 2009. But it was removed after the summer. So it's not there anyway.

Now we have another Gundam in Shizuoka. It's fine despite the earthquake.
