Do the results of the "nuclear incident" occurring in Japan serve to validate their own "risk assessment"?

Question:

i.e. The prevailing winds would likely take the vast majority of any radioactive material resulting from a meltdown far out to sea, where it would have little impact on the residents of Japan. So... Why worry?

Using nuclear power is a roll of the dice. Looks like they might have "crapped out" in this case. Odds are odds, even if 10,000:1, someone should have had the contingency plan in hand when that remote possibility of a disaster actually happened.

Yes?

Answer:

Yes and it was shady when they brought it to the UN. Tipco the company who built these plants for Japan are shady people. They have been caught before for lying about their practices and emergency plans. They have also ben sued for straight out lying. The US said there is low amounts of radiation already in Tokyo. Tipco has been running people around in circles.
