So I have a reflection to write on how the Japan crisis (earthquake) will affect the hospitality and tourism industry... Can someone please give me details on that.. maybe just more details on the radiation part..
Answer:
It's already affecting those 2 industries much. Many hotels, ryokans, and other entertainment and travel industry businesses have had much fewer customers since the earthquake.
Partly it's because foreign tourists have stopped visiting Japan out of radiation fear. Even Japanese tourist can't travel due to various reasons like gasoline shortage, suspended transportation, etc.
I think many of them will go out of business by the end of this year.
