Japanese Coca Cola is different?

Question:

I have heard that coca cola has less calories in Japan - or at least this is what the bottle states on its side. Does someone know if this is true?

Answer:

If you're talking about "Zero calorie", I've read somewhere that it's because of the labelling regulation that's supposed to be decided by each country according to the law.
If the product has less than 1 kcal/100ml, they can label "0 calorie" in Japan.
*The labelling seems to vary like some countries show 0.27 kcl or 0.75 kcal for the same "Zero"

Moreover, according to Wikipedia's Coca-Cola (Japan), it says Coca-Cola may taste subtly different (RANGE OF ERROR) from factory to factory.
Or, once I really liked Vietnam coffee that I had in Ho Chi Minh, and brought it back to Japan. But the same coffee somehow tasted different. I thought it's because of the climate (i.e. humidity does matter how the drink goes down your throat...)
