What are the people and culture of Narashino, Chiba Japan like?

are family is planing a trip to Narashino, Chiba Japan this summer and i just needed to know some information about it. Every where I look I mostly see only about Tokyo Which is near by. PLEASE answer truthfully!!

I know that city very well....
It's suburb of Tokyo. Many people commute from Narashino area to Tokyo. It's good middle classed neighborhood, but not many exciting things around. Good thing is you can go to most of famous tourist attraction of Tokyo in about 30 min. -60 min. by train. Some of major places around the area are:
Big shopping mall called "LaLaport" in Funabashi,

,,, nothing in Narashino. The City municipality is promoting Yatsu higata. It's peaeful place, but might not be so exciting place. You coudl walk around it and take about 1hour.

Narahisno is still nice place for everyday life.
Not many people in Narashino have experiences to see foreign people, I guess.

It's OK place to live, but not very fun place to travel.
