Question:
Hey guys, I found a brownie recipe online, and it calls for 1 teaspoon of vinegar...
It doesn't specify what kind of vinegar, and I'm considering just not including it because of the small amount needed..
Any thoughts?
Answer:
The recipe probably means good old white vinegar. It may be being used as a leavening agent, so find a recipe that does not use vinegar if you wish to leave it out. I am pretty sure you could substitute Japanese Wine Vinegar or Cider vinegars.
