1.Japan is not a developing country; Japan has money and technologies to help themselves.
Japan has plenty of food and goods to distribute to the quake victims.
2.The only problem is an extensive destruction of transportation system in the tsunami-struck region. As soon as temporary transportation network is facilitated, all the goods, food, fuels, water and other necessities will be distributed to the victims in the shelters.
3. You might watch TV news, reporting food and water shortage among the victims. That is not because we are running out of them but because of devastation of transportation system. So, we don't need any food or cloths from overseas.
