Why is SIA not cancelling its flights to TOKYO in the next few days?

Question:

My hubby is being rostered to fly to Tokyo in the next few days. I am very worried. Already, many internationals flights are re-routing. Why can't SIA do the same? Does SIA know it's exposing it's staff to potential radiation? No amount of profits is enough reason to put your staff under serious, silent health threats.

Answer:

Do you mean Singapore Airlines or Secret Intelligence Agency?
In both cases, I think, they have no choice as its their job. I understand your concerns and I am sorry but someone has to go. The air roads are closed 30km around the Fukushima, so, I hope the risk is relatively low.
