Question:
I have a friend who lives in Nerima-ku, Japan, and he goes to school in Tokyo. He was fine the last time I talked to him last week, but I heard that the radiation crisis went up to level 7 and they were evacuating more people outside of the original danger zone. Would they evacuating around where my friend lives?
Answer:
Moving from 5 to 7 category does not mean a further output of radiation. Previously ( for one reason or another ) they counted the reactors individually. Now, they count it as a combined category. That is not to say that further radiation leakage is not a possibility. This is why the evacuation area zone has been increased.
