Women who live in Japan. Where do you buy your shoes?

Question:

I don't want to buy expensive shoes at department stores.
When I was in the US, I bought shoes at Aldo, Payless shoes and Target,Delia's. (I'm 22)

I want flat shoes and flat boots for everyday wear and so far I checked out several shoe stores but it seemed almost all shoes have heels(why?!) and I didn't like the design at all.
I want SIMPLE flat shoes/boots.

Tell me where I should go shoe shopping!

Answer:

Jusco and ABC Mart sell flat shoes, as do many independent shoe shops. I don't know where you live, but I've never had problems buying flat shoes.
