Japanese honorifics for Naruto?

Question:

I'm writing a fanfic and was wondering what one of my characters (Yuki; middle twenties; doctor) could call Naruto. She doesn't like him AT ALL and I recently found a honorific--yōgisha (Naruto-yōgisha)--and was wondering if I could use that. If not, what could I?

Answer:

-yōgisha is an honorific used when referring to a criminal or the accused, so it wouldn't really be appropriate in this setting. I have listed a couple of honorifics below that will work for your situation:

-chan~using this honorific outside of addressing young children, close friends, women, etc. can be taken as rude and condescending

-baka-Many characters in Naruto often refer to him as -baka, meaning "idiot,""fool,"or"stupid"

Hope these helped and happy writing!
