How do I get from Tokyo Narita airport to Kuramae Station using trains approved on the JR pass?

Hi! I will have a Japan Rail pass and wish to use it to travel from Tokyo Narita airport to Kuramae station (on the Oedo line). Can you tell me which trains will get me there on my pass? Thanks a lot!

Answer:

You will not be able to get all the way to Kuramae Station (because that is on a subway line, not JR), but you can get pretty close.
From Narita, once you get your JR Pass validated, take a JR train to Tokyo Station (if you can, take the Narita Express). Then at Tokyo Station get of the train and change to the Yamanote line, and go to Okachimachi. That's as far as you can go with the JR pass.
Exit Okachimachi Station (JR) and go to the Ueno-Okachimachi Station (Oedo line).
Get on the Oedo line there and go to Kuramae which is only two stops away.
Riding the Oedo line from Ueno-Okachimachi to Kuramae will cost you JPY 170.
