Help me Japanese Speakers! I want to say this in Japanese!?

Question:

I want to tell my class

"Today I am going to talk with you about Korea! I went to Korea this summer! It was really awesome. I am going to show you some photos!"

If I want to say "This is [something]" I can say "Kore wa" right? With the [something] after right?

I want to say small comments like

"This was a really cute place."

"Japan and Korea are very similar to each other. This is like Tokyo Disneyland or Disneyland I guess." (I am talking about a theme park in Korea! ^^)

"There are many cafes." "These are theme cafes."

"This is my favorite food."

"This city is called Busan! It's like Osaka. It's like California too. It's a vacation city."

OK I don't want to overload... But I want to hear how other people would say these things. Romaji or hiragana is fine! I can not read kanji yet. :(
