Tokyo places of interest?

Question:

I'm going on a holiday to Tokyo from 12-18 dec. Family of four, two 32 year old adults and two kids, 12 and 14. We'll be going staying in the central Tokyo, any places of interest? Nothing too transitional or expensive. We'll be going to Disneyland. And could you add in way of transport, we'll be taking the train! Thanks!

I really like Asakusa Temple. It's free. Very touristy but if you want an interesting temple and interesting shops in the area it's a great place to go if you don't come to Japan often. You can get many trains. Asakusa station on the Asakusa or Ginza line.
