Do Japanese feel ignored now - 6 months after the earthquake and tsunami - by the world?

Question:

or is there a mood of ambivalence regarding foreign aid and attention?

I feel as if we have moved on, which is rather sad but understandable given how fast the news moves in the 21st century.

Answer:

We are devastated of course. Many people lost their jobs and families.

It's sad yes, that many people around the globe forgot about Japan that easily. But Japanese still needs the help.

Many people here, especially the people in the affected areas, try to live their lives as normally as possible. But with the Fukushima nuclear plant still unsafe, it's really hard to forget about it.
