When will it be safe to visit Japan again?

Question:

Does anyone have any clue how long will it take?
The Places we intend to visit are:
-Tokyo
-Osaka
-Yokohama
-Nara
-Kyoto
Are they safe and if not how long till they become safe.

People really need to stop the Hysteria.

ALL the places you mentioned on your list is SAFE to visit RIGHT NOW. Everything west of Tokyo is 100% fine and was not affected. Tokyo itself is FINE, WE ARE ALIVE IN TOKYO, the CITY WAS NOT DESTROYED.

If you are worried about radiation levels, the radiation levels in Tokyo are no more then normal background radiation anywhere else. You get more radiation from a doctor's visit and getting x-rays then you do from standing on the streets of Tokyo.

The only areas not safe to visit right now are the areas immediately hit in northern/northeastern Japan. None of those cities are on your list.
