Where to see Anime cartoons memorials in Tokyo?

Question:

My daughter and her boyfriend are wanting to go to Tokyo for the Anime fair but also to explore the city for it's glory! My daughter wants to see Sailor Moon and her boyfriend would like to see Dragon Ball Z. Is there anywhere that can be recommended to see both of these!
Plus they wanted to know romantic places in the city?
Thanks

Answer:

Akihabara sells a lot of that anime stuff, and there used to be an annual anime-fan fair in the early summer. (The Sendai earthquake changed that, though.)
In Kichijoji you have the Ghibli studios, which has a bit of a theme park for kids and people who grew up on cartoons like Totoro and Mononoke Hime.
You can also visit the Toei studios - they have a mini museum set up there.

But other than that there aren't many "anime" places.... They don't really have an equivalent to Disney World for anime, if that is what you are looking for.
