Japan just annoinced a new, revolutional plan, SUNRISE?

Question:

Japanese goverment revealed a revolutional new energy plan called SUNRISE.
This plan aims to install solar cells on every single one of all houses in Japan by 2030.

What do you think of this?

Answer:

I think I've heard this news long time ago (2 years ago I think). Anyway, Naoto Kan mentioned about looking for renewable energy and something about that. I do hope the government invest more on something like this. It may be an expensive investment at start but it has better long term effect and non hazardous effects. A town in Germany had equipped 5,000 homes with solar panels, let's see if our country, Japan, can make the whole country solar powered by 2030.
