Can I fly into Japan in Sept.?

Have the airports opened up since the earthquake? I've heard that it was impossible to fly in and out of Japan after the earthquake that hit. Because of a certain concert (SM Town live in Tokyo >.< -squeal-) my cousin is wanting me to go to Japan in last August or early September. Is that possible?

You heard wrong. Tokyo is back to normal. All of Japan is back to normal except in the areas hit by the tsunami in the north east.
