As has been said, the language barrier will greatly decrease your number of prospective girlfriends. This leaves the English speaking ones. Some are English vampires, those that wish only to practice their English. Then you have the skankier ones, which although they can speak English, you might not want as a girlfriend. Gaijin bars will have female clientele of all types. It's up to you to sort throw the offerings.
