Question:
I'm planning on taking the school exchange program with which I would be going to Yokohama, Japan in the summer. With looking on the internet I can't find specifically anything about Yokohama, other than it was hit by the earthquake a bit and everything else is all somewhat outdated. I'm looking for an updated answer on how Yokohama is doing and if there are any radiation, food, and/or water concerns.
Answer:
Everything's normal. The earthquake was a long time ago and didn't leave any lasting damage in Yokohama. You'd get more radiation eating a banana every day.
Everyone's going to be excited to see you. Radiation will be the last thing on your mind.
