Does the Shinkansen offer a VIP Cabin?

Question:

I was wondering for those that are traveling with a few mates for business on the Shinkansen in Japan, does it offer a VIP Cabin for those who demand the ultimate in privacy?

At least on the Tokaido Line (Tokyo-Shin Osaka) or the Sanyo Line (Shin Osaka-Hakata [Fukuoka]).

Answer:

There is no VIP cabin on Shinkansen trains. There are 'Greensha's, which are more luxurious than Ordinary cars. In the 'Green' cars there are fewer seats, and the seats are wider.
On all Shinkansen, though, there is a private room, that can be used for changing clothes. To make use of this room, on needs to contact the conductor.
