I don't think they are conservative, if you look on the internet under the Asian porn section, they are dominated by Japanese porn, I don't know why. They invented things like bu-kka-ke, girls eating poo and rape on train/bus...
Also, Japanese girls like foreign guys. If you speak to any white guy, they will tell you their Japanese gf knows how to please.
