I'm staying with a family and wanted to bring them some food etc. fro the UK. Maybe sweets and chocolate? I just wondered what to bring and what they already have.

You can get KitKats, Snickers and Mars bars in Japan, and import shops sell the Aussie version of Cadbury's (it's horrible).
Make sure you present the gift wrapped or in a bag.
