I haven't heard much about the radiation and I don't know if it can contaminate goods. I am not ordering anything edible or used to hold food/water. I am just getting squeaky toys and bedding. So is it safe?

Yes, absolutely safe. Everything exported gets screened. Unless the company has a factory inside one of the reactors, contamination is unlikely to be a problem.
