Translate Japanese to English?

It's from a song and these are the parts I don't understand:

止めていた時間が動き出して 
希望の光に向かう道は
間違いじゃないと自分で決めたんだ

迷いを捨てれば馬鹿になった
ここにいたって陽は落ちて 焦り繰り返した

I think the first part says something like: "Stopped time starts moving on the road that leads to a ray of hope. I've decided without a doubt". I don't know what the second one is saying.
