Anyone feels stupid still going to Japan at a time like this?

Question:

I am bound to go to Japan in 3 days and part of me feels stupid about wanting to still go despite the recent earthquake and the raising of level to 7 at the Fukushima. I know they say that nothing really changed and they only raised because though the radiation levels are decreasing, it still remains high. I will be staying North East (quite far from Tokyo and Fukushima) but still...

Does anyone else feels stupid about going to Japan amidst these events?

Northwest is fine. Are you visiting Chubu or Kansai region? There are lots of very beautiful places there.
250 miles from Fukushima is like Kansai. Osaka, Kyoto and Nara are beautiful cities.
