Is it true that clothes from Japan are?

Question:

made from cheap fabric and are easy to rip? I want honest answers and im curious if the fabric of the clothes from Japan are the same from the ones in Canada or the US or not? If anyone can give me descriptions, thatd be great. This is for a project.

Answer:

No. Japanese clothes are usually made of very high quality materials. The clothes that generally available in the States, especially those from GAP, Abercrombie, and other mass market brands are made in South Asian countries like India, Bangladesh and Pakistan to cut costs. That's why clothes in US and Canada are of much poorer quality.
