Question:
Okay so I finally did all the math and I think I'll be able to afford it if I save at least $7000.00 dollars... I'm planning on going to Japan this Winter break for 5 days(can't afford 7 days), so my main question is what to bring along, I want to pack light so no extra cost for weight.

There are just a few things
Valid Passport
Some money
Learn some basic Japanese
Get a good camera for all the great photos you will take
Pick up a copy of Lonely Planet Japan (my bible in Japan)
Travel to Japan
