2. is correct. "be able to+ a bare verb" in English is adapted "a bare verb + kotoga dekimasu" in Japanese.
If translate the former, perhaps it'll be like "I'm be able to I play the piano."
Sounds unnatural.
Someone else advised you to change "o" to "wo".
