Question:
Does anyone have any Japanese drama recommendations for someone who tends to dislike the most popular dramas? I am hoping for something with well-rounded/well-acted characters, and believable plot lines. I really need to keep up my Japanese skills while in the US, but I'm having a hard time finding one to watch. I seriously disliked Hana Yori Dango (no offense to fans, just my personal taste), and I have a hard time enjoying shows with really overwrought acting. However, I love Japan and would be really excited to find a show from there that I could get into.
