Buying from Japan's Print Gakufu in US, credit card question?

Question:

I am trying to purchase from Print Gakufu (www.print-gakufu.com/), a Japanese site that enables people to purchase and download sheet music. They accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit card payment but during checkout, it doesn't accept any US cards... is there a reason why? Kind of disappointed I can't get the sheets I want, thats all.. -______-;;

Some vendors in Japan can only accept credit cards issued in Japan. As far as I can tell, there aren't many, but there are some; I have had a similar experience a couple of times.
