and how much would a place like that cost? just wondering :) because i wana own a dojo when I'm older. I know it sound stupid, but thats my dream life.

Answer:

Well, Japan does have temples high in the mountains for monks who study Buddhism, but I have never heard of a Dojo in the mountains. I have heard of crazy foreigners going into the mountains to look for these so called mystical Dojos that only exist in legend, but of course they get lost and need a rescue team to come and get them.
Also, you want to own a Dojo in the mountains? All Japanese land is private land, so first you would need to buy a mountain (there are mountains for sale but you better have the cash). Next you want a Dojo, so you would need to build one, which of course isn't free. Then of course you would need students, and unless you are a world renowned Master, no one will come to study under you.

Its a nice dream and it is really great to have dreams, but this particular dream is very very impractical. As you get older and understand reality, you will understand that what I am saying is not meant to hurt you, it is just the truth.
