How can i stay in japan?

is it possible if i goto a base university in japan and get a work visa and be able to stay in japan? i am already in japan, i just need a way to stay in japan.

Answer:

If Japan is like any other western country, then i can only imagine that you need to leave the country (assuming you came in as a tourist) and then apply for a student visa. You can't switch from a student to work visa or tourist visa (if you have one) to work visa whilst in Japan. You have to finish your studies and then if you get a work offer, apply for a work visa with the help of the sponsor company. That is of course assuming you can find a job in the first place
