As expected paid bloggers and the mass media empires play down the worst disaster since Chernobyl. Some credible experts feel it's of the same or greater magnitude as Chernobyl, with perhaps less human occupied territory affected.
Why are political figures and talk media playing down the significance? Could it be that we are being manipulated by people who want to profit from the nuclear power industry?
Nuclear power is anything but clean and safe. It is also not cost effective. The Chinese currently use solar water heaters throughout the country. Why doesn't the US?
Perhaps there is no big capital pay back for appropriate technologies. Perhaps you need to put the squeeze on people to make the most money?
