Do these sentences make sense?

Question:

and if not could you please correct them.

This is my sister

My mother is thirty years old (が or は after mother?)

My father's name is____

I live with my mother and father (I don't know whether this is the right form of 'and', と also means 'with'?)

I'm very new to Japanese

Answer:

これは私のいもうとです "妹" is the kanji character for "いもうと"
This is my "younger" sister.

My mother is thirty years old.

My father's name is____
”名前” is more formal.

I live with my mother and father (I don't know whether this is the right form of 'and', と also means 'with'?)

Hope this helps.
