Question:
i have a 100% japanese bf and our 1 yr anniversary is coming up. I wanted to do something nice for us but i want to find out how and if anniversaries like this are celebrated in japan....
it would be great to hear from japanese natives!! :D
also, any ideas as to what i could do would be great!!

Answer:
There is no general way to celebrate 1st anniversary in Japan. Usually couples celebrate such anniversary as Christmas or birthday. But not 1st year or so.
They celebrate 1st and other anniversaries of marriage. But not just dating. So you do not have to care what others do. Just celebrate it as you like.
